"I grew up in a large family here in the Tri-State area where I learned good Midwestern values, faith, the importance of hard work, and personal and collective responsibility. I have four grown children and eight grandchildren who are the absolute lights of my life. I raised my four amazing children in New England where I also spent many years volunteering in my community and enjoying a rewarding career with Goodwill Industries of Northern New England as a nonprofit National Service Program Director; serving multiple states and many communities largely concentrated in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. In addition to my role as Mom & MiMi, working for the good of the community, and helping people is my passion. Being a champion of service, it is my great honor to serve the children and families of Borrowed Hearts."
I am a realtor with FCTucker Emge & want to help others find a place they love! I also enjoy camping, traveling, playing cards, and photography. I have a passion for organizations that support & advocate for children in need which brought me to Borrowed Hearts.
I graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry with a Doctorate in Optometry & have practice here in Evansville. My husband & I were married in 2009 and I enjoy traveling, cooking, working out, and spending time with my family. I often care for children in foster care in my line of work & decided to get involved with Borrowed Hearts to serve the foster community.
My husband Patrick and I have been married for 6 wonderful years. I am Property Manager at Liberty Terrace Apartments and have worked there for 8 years. I have a background in Criminal Justice and a passion for working with troubled youth and children. My husband and I have been fostering for 3 years now. Through the foster care program we became acquainted with Borrowed Hearts. I've seen first-hand how this organization meets the basic needs if children in crisis and I'm so excited and honored to be part of this ministry.

My husband Matthew and I became foster parents in 2012 after learning it would be difficult to have biological children. We opened our home and hearts to children in need. We quickly realized that these "borrowed hearts" were in great need of things we take for granted such as clothing and a toothbrush. They would arrive in the middle of the night with only the clothes on their backs. Out of this need, Borrowed Hearts was formed.
